Pound cakes historically have a long shelf life – maybe that is one of the reasons pound cakes are so cherished! On the bottom of our packaging is date that suggests the date by which the cake should be eaten or frozen.
Your cake will keep best at room temperature wrapped in plastic or placed on a covered cake plate.
